While awaiting Ruby Stone & Beyond the Point...
As my fans already know, my sister is a co-author of Beyond the Point, due out this Fall. For those of you who have read Eureka Point, Beyond the Point is the sequel, and you'll be able to follow the mystery and intrigue, and of course the romances between Lizzie and Tom, and also new characters, Abby and Scott.
The even better news is, my sister, Linda and I are already working on another book in the series! Moonlight Cove will hopefully be submitted, contracted and released in the spring of 2012.
For those of you hooked on this series, here's an excerpt (PG) from Beyond the Point:
Lizzie peered out of the back kitchen window and looked at the dead tree way out in the meadow, beyond the left side of the back yard. She thought back to the night when that tree had been struck by lightening. It had been the same night the electricity had been knocked out in a storm that blew through, welcoming her to her new home here.
What a night that had been. She was alone and Tom, who’d hit his head when they’d been in that horrible car accident, was lying unconscious in a hospital bed. How lucky for her that he regained consciousness and his memory two days later. She’d had to fend for herself in a new place and this new house.
She suddenly realized that the wind was really picking up, and she could hear the leaves as they orchestrated a continuous rustle. "So much for dining outside this evening," she said aloud, as if she was talking to someone. Talking to myself, not a good sign. She laughed as she thought about her mother who used to say that it was okay to talk to yourself, as long as you didn’t get an answer.
As she watched the limited light of the day slowly slide into dusk, a chill ran down her spine. She turned to grab her sweater from the back of the kitchen chair, when she, out of pure surprise, was abruptly compelled to stop when a sudden movement at the edge of the property, where the woods met the yard, caught her eye. What was that? Lizzie rubbed her tired eyes. She tried to focus on the area where she had seen the movement. As a baby deer emerged from behind a large tree, she let out a sigh of relief. Get a grip. Maybe I’ve been reading too many murder mysteries.

And another coming soon book is on the horizon... BEYOND THE POINT
For those of you enjoyed my 5-STAR reviewed first book, Eureka Point, you'll be pleased to learn that the long-awaited sequel, BEYOND THE POINT will be released later this year.
Newlyweds, Lizzie and Tom Owens have settled down in Eureka Point, California, in the very house where Lizzie stayed when she first arrived in the scenic, old seaport town. She was relocated there by the FBI with a new ID just the previous year. Although she had been in grave danger, she'd had the very good fortune of having FBI Special Agent, Tom Owens, now her husband, assigned to protect her.
In BEYOND THE POINT, Lizzie has just started an interior design business and meets landscape designer, Abby Grant. They become friends and work together on their first big project. But is Ricardo just a wealthy, new client, or was he sent by the drug cartel who found out where Lizzie was now living under an alias?
Want to catch up before the sequel is released? Check out Eureka Point at Amazon.com, available in kindle or paperback. Click on the bookcover below to purchase Eureka Point. Go ahead, get swept away in this story of love, betrayal and danger...
